Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the Vokio platform. By using Vokio you agree to them. Vokio is operated by Seb Nastarowicz, trading as dotright. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.

1. Using Vokio

Vokio lets administrators run live interactive sessions (quizzes, word clouds and suggestion activities) and lets participants join those sessions. You must use the platform lawfully and not misuse it - including no attempts to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, or interfere with other users.

2. Accounts

Administrator accounts are created by invitation. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Content you submit

You are responsible for the content you submit, including quiz questions, nicknames and word-cloud entries. You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, infringes someone else's rights, or contains malware. We may remove content and suspend access where these terms are breached.

4. Participant contributions

Live sessions are interactive and contributions from participants appear to others in the session. Session organisers are responsible for how they run their sessions and for informing their participants appropriately.

5. Availability

We aim to keep Vokio available and reliable but provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may change, suspend or withdraw features.

6. Intellectual property

The Vokio platform, its design and code are owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer any ownership in the platform to you. You retain ownership of the content you submit.

7. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business arising from your use of Vokio.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
